Nigerian Army releases Daily Trust Maiduguri editor

The Nigerian Army on Yesterday,Tuesday evening released the detained Bureau-Chief of the Daily Trust Newspaper, Uthman Abubakar, jeossyjs gathered. Abubakar was picked up by the military after a raid on the Maiduguri office of the newspaper on Sunday January 6th. BREAKING: General Buratai’s Convoy Involved In An Accident

The Chief Of Army Staff’s official staff car had an accident at Jere town on the way to Kaduna today 11 November 2018 at about 6.00 p.m. The staff car was in a convoy along with other vehicles when a lone civilian vehicle veered off its lane and rammed into the staff car. The COAS was not in the car. However, the ADC sustained minor injuries and has been evacuated to a nearby hospital for medical attention. See More Pictures below.

Army storm Boko Haram hideout in Borno, rescue 21 civilians

Troops of 192 Battalion of 26 Task Force Brigade of Operation LAFIYA DOLE in conjuction with Civilian Joint Task Force yesterday September 6th, killed 14 Boko Haram terrorists during a raid in Amdaga Madachi village in Gwoza Local Governmnent Area in Borno State suspected to habour the terrorists. Boko Haram Hijacks Bus, Abducts 20 Passengers In Borno

Boko Haram insurgents on Wednesday hijacked a commercial bus and kidnapped the passengers on board in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
